Texas Tech Soccer Players Janine Beckie and Jaelene Hinkle Named to NSCAA All-Central Region First Team

Two Texas Tech soccer players have earned more honors.

Tech sophomore forward Janine Beckie and junior defender Jaelene Hinkle have been named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Central Region First Team.

Both were pivotal in the Red Raiders’ record breaking 2013 season. The team won a school record 18 games and made a return trip to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

According to Tech, both have been named to the All-Region team multiple times in their careers.

Beckie, a Highlands Ranch, Colorado native, moved into fourth all-time with 26 career goals, 10 of which have been game winners.

Hinkle ended her junior campaign with a team-leading six assists while moving into fourth on the Tech career list with 15.
