Texas Tech Red Raider Basketball Upsets #12 Baylor Bears

The Texas Tech Red Raiders upset #12 Baylor Bears Wednesday night in an 82-72 win at the United Spirit Arena.

The Red Raiders led the game for all but the first two minutes of the game, having an 43-22 lead at halftime.

Jaye Crockett led the Red Raiders with 19 points and 4 rebounds.  Dejan Kravic contributed 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

Texas Tech head coach Tubby Smith was pleased with Kravic’s play, “Early on I was very impressed with Dejan’s ability to pass. He found Jordan (Tolbert) open, he found Jaye (Crockett) open on cuts to the basket early on. I think that loosened their defense up inside.”
The Red Raiders next game is Saturday at TCU.  The game tips off at 5p and will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest.
