Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business has been ranked 74th in Bloomberg Businessweek’s top ranking MBA programs.

The rankings included 85 schools from the U.S. and 27 international schools. The rankings were based on student satisfaction surveys, surveys of employers hiring recent graduates, and the laurels of teaching staff measured through the amount of research published.

Individually, the Rawls College of Business was ranked 68th, 67th, and 79th in the student survey, faculty survey and in faculty expertise, respectively.

The college was unranked in Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2012 rankings.

Lance Nail, Rawls College of Business dean, said the rankings reflected the hard work done to implement changes in the college in the past few years.

We are seeing the payoff to those changes and the teamwork that takes place in the Rawls College. Our graduate services staff is first-rate under the direction of Mary Frances Weatherly, and Bill Pasewark has done a tremendous job in his role as associate dean for graduate programs and research. The ranking reflects their hard work and the commitment of our faculty to delivering an excellent MBA program to our students.”

The Rawls College of Business offers multiple MBA and other degree programs.
