Texas Tech football's 2016 quarterback commit, Jett Duffey, is making waves.

Duffey’s performance in the semi-finals of the Elite 11 in Los Angeles, California over the weekend was good enough to earn him a selection in to the finals with a select few others in this years field of quarterbacks. Only 18 up-and-coming signal callers got the invite in total.

Duffey excelled over many of the nation’s top recruits, and will be on display next in "The Opening" showcase on July 5-10 at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR.

Among many sterling characteristics, former NFL QB Jordan Palmer raved about Jett Duffey’s "coachability" and sheer athleticism at the position.
