Texas Tech University is participating in a program to promote recycling for the next few weeks.

Tech is promoting the 2014 Give and Go! Collection drive for the students who live both on and off campus.

The Give and Go! Program is designed to work with universities to implement effective collection drives for recycling during spring move-out time.

Recycling bins will be placed in residence halls from Monday, May 5th until May 19th for those who live on campus.

A Goodwill truck will also be parked at the United Supermarkets Arena from May 14th to May 16th to collect items from off-campus students.

The Give and Go! Program is partnering with Keep America Beautiful and Goodwill Industries International with support from the College and University Recycling Coalition.

The university is one of 15 schools that are participating in the program this year.
