If you gotta catch 'em all in Nintendo's unbelievably popular "Pokemon Go" mobile game, Texas Tech University's campus is definitely a hot spot. And students know it.

The school officially realized that the Lubbock campus is overridden with pocket monsters with a humorous tweet Friday. In the video (which you can watch above), you can see a small gathering of Pokemon hunters in front of the Texas Tech University seal when someone spots a wild Pikachu.

So, why is Texas Tech such a hotbed of "Pokemon Go" hunting? It has to do with cellular data usage. Apparently, the more data used in a location, the greater the Pokemon spawn rate. And the more Pokemon that spawn, the more there are for players to catch.

It'll be very interesting to see just how crazy the "Pokemon Go" hunting at Texas Tech will be once fall classes start.
