Texas Tech Plant & Soil Science Students Have Opportunities With Big Companies

In Lubbock, Texas right now there are major opportunities for students in the Texas Tech Plant and Soil Sciences Department to find good jobs with Bayer Crop Science and Monsanto to name a few, said Dr. Peter Dotray.

Dotray works at the Texas Tech Plant and Soil Sciences Department, Texas A&M AgriLife Research and also with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

"I work for three different agencies," Dotray said. "I feel like research and extension make me a better teacher. The teaching part makes me a better extension person and so forth."
