Texas Tech Names New Cheerleading Coach

Texas Tech University Center for Campus Life named a new cheerleading coach Friday. Bruce Bills was selected to coach the cheerleading squad after over eight years with the Spirit Program.

Bills has worked in as a Tech recruiter, publicist for the Spirit Program, and coach of the pom squad. He also serves as the head instructor for the National Cheerleaders Association. He graduated from Texas Tech in 2007 with a graduate in business administration and was a Texas Tech Cheerleader for three years. He currently is working on earning a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in sports management, business administration, and higher education administration.
