Texas Tech Named as One of Top Schools For Return on Investment

Texas Tech has been named as one of the top schools for return on the students’ investment.

Tech was named 28^th in the United States for “Affordable Colleges with High Returns” by www.affordablecollegesonline.org.

Out of 875 schools that met certain criteria, including four-year tuition of less than $40,000, Texas Tech ranked 28^th with a 30-year return on investment computed at $328,000.

“The recent decision by the Board of Regents to freeze tuition for this school year emphasizes the need for quality higher education that doesn’t become a life-long burden on alumni, but rather opens doors and assures success,” said Texas Tech President M. Duane Nellis. “Texas Tech’s high ROI reflects Texas Tech’s commitment to our students and alumni.”

Tuition for the 2013-14 school year is $7,517.
