Texas Tech Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Teams Remain in Top 20

Both the Red Raiders and Lady Raiders track and field teams remain in the top-20.

The Texas Tech men’s track and field team appeared at No. 16 and the Lady Raiders ranked 20^th in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association rankings.

Tech is one of two Big 12 schools with both its men’s and women’s teams appearing in the top-20.

The Red Raiders are fresh off a third place finish at the Big 12 Championships.

Both teams have appeared in the top-20 rankings for the entirety of the 2013 outdoor season.

The program has now shifted its focus on the NCAA West Preliminaries set for May 23^rd through the 25^th in Austin.

Qualifiers for the preliminaries will be announced on Thursday.
