An honor society at Texas Tech is hosting a forum regarding peace and security.

The Texas Tech National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society will host the fourth-annual Forum on Peace and Security on Wednesday, March 21st from 5 to 6 p.m. The forum will be held at the International Cultural Center Auditorium, located at 601 Indiana Avenue.

The event is sponsored by Sigma Delta Pi, the Tech National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs.

The event will feature Steve Honley, editor-in-chief of the Foreign Service Journal of the American Foreign Service Association and Mohammad Maqusi, professor of Middle East studies at Texas Tech. The two will take part in a discussion centralized around the theme “Arab Spring: One Year Later.”

The forum will be moderated by former Ambassador Tibor Nagy, vice provost for International Affairs.
