Texas Tech Debate Team Places Second in Nationals

The Texas Tech University debate team finished second in the National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence last month.

They also placed third in the National Parliamentary Debate Association’s championship tournament. Tournaments were held from March 17-24at the  Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

Texas Tech’s top team was comprised of Joey Donaghy and Adam Testerman.

The team made second place, and Testerman was named the sixth best speaker in the nation.
