Texas Tech Athletics and the Big 12 Conference have announced five football kickoff times for the upcoming season.

Texas Tech football will kick off the 2013 season with a game at Southern Methodist University on Friday, August 30th at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.

The Red Raiders’ home opener will be on September 7th against Stephen F. Austin, with a 6 p.m. kickoff. That game will be televised on FSN.

On September 12th, Tech football will face TCU at home at 6:30 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN.

September 21st’s game will be at home against Texas State, with a 6 p.m. kickoff. The game will be televised on FSN. This game against the Bobcats will be Tech’s final non-conference game of the season.

Also, Tech’s Thanksgiving matchup against the University of Texas will take place on November 28th in Austin  with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

The other games will have times and networks announced with a 12-day or six-day notification.
