A New Mexico team barely beats the Red Raider baseball team.

The New Mexico Lobos took on Texas Tech in Albuquerque on Wednesday afternoon.

The Red Raiders took an early lead, scoring two runs in the first inning and four in the second, but the Lobos managed to tie up the game in the bottom of the fifth inning, adding five runs to the two they managed to score in the second.

The white-knuckle game resulted with New Mexico scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning, inching out Texas Tech 14 to 13.

Texas Tech beat the Lobos 9-5 in Tuesday’s game in the two-game series.

The Red Raiders will next play Missouri at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park on Friday in a three-game series.
