Texas Tech baseball has been eliminated from Big 12 Championship title contention following a shutout against Oklahoma.

The Red Raiders fell with an 8-0 loss to the Sooners, dropping Tech to 0-2 in pool play competition.

Tech lost 4-3 to Kansas State on Thursday in their first game of the Championship.

This marks the first time Tech had been shut out at the Big 12 Championship since 2006.

Tech will play its final game of the 2013 season on Saturday with a 9 a.m. first pitch against Baylor at Bricktown Ballpark.
