Texas Tech Baseball Earns Third Consecutive National Ranking
The Texas Tech baseball program has received a national ranking for three straight weeks.
The Red Raiders landed a No. 27 ranking in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Top 30 poll.
Tech’s team currently has a 2.56 ERA through 14 games played, marking their best team earned run average at this point in the season since 2001.
They went 1-1 last week with an 8-4 win over No. 10 ranked Arizona State in Tempe, and lost 2-1 Sunday and 7-4 Monday at No. 26 TCU in Fort Worth. The Red Raiders have won 7 of their last 10 games.
The team will play Alabama A&M at 6 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
