Texas Tech University has announced their spring commencement schedule.

On Friday, May 17th, graduation ceremonies will be held beginning at 3 p.m. for the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as Wind Energy graduates. Ceremonies for the Tech Graduate School will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.

On Saturday, May 18th, ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Rawls College of Business, College of Media and Communication, Honors College, and the Office of the Provost, which includes B.A. of University Studies and B.S. of University Studies.

At 1:30 p.m. Saturday, the ceremony for the Colleges of Architecture, Education, Human Sciences, Visual and Performing Arts, and the Whitacre College of Engineering will be held as well.

Finally, at 6 p.m. Saturday, the Tech School of Law Hooding Ceremony will take place.

All ceremonies will be held at the United Spirit Arena, located at 18th Street and Indiana Avenue.

The commencement speaker for Friday’s ceremonies will be Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz. Speaking at Saturday’s commencement ceremonies will be U.S. Representative Randy Neugebauer.

The Hooding Ceremony will feature speaker Dana Dershowitz, general counsel for the United States Olympic Committee.
