Texas Senator Lois Kolkhorst joined The Chad Hasty Show on Friday to talk about issues surrounding The Texas Privacy Act (SB 6), more commonly known as "The Bathroom Bill", that she will introduce in the Texas Senate this month.

The Act will face much opposition from the left as well as some business groups, requiring people in public schools, universities, and government buildings to use only bathrooms that match their biological sex, and will also allow private businesses to set their own rules for bathroom use. The bill will also prohibit cities from enacting ordinances forcing businesses to allow citizens to use the bathroom that corresponds with the gender they identify with.

During the interview, Senator Kolkhorst said,

Personal privacy is something that I think that we all hold dear. As a woman, when I go into those very private settings of showers or locker rooms or even restrooms...in public settings those are the most intimate places that we go into.
