The state of Texas has been ranked in the annual Best & Worst States Business Survey by Chief Magazine.

For the tenth year in a row, Texas was ranked as the No. 1 state to do business after gauging the sentiments of more than five hundred CEOs who participated in the survey.

CEO’s gave their rankings based on a variety of measures such as tax and regulatory regime, quality of the workforce, and quality of the living environment.

Texas was also ranked as one of the seven best states for start-up companies and was also ranked 11th in the Tax Foundation list.

Marshall Cooper, CEO of Chief Executive Magazine, says business success in Texas is a combination of low business taxes, quality workforces and excellent living environments.
