More than 10,000 acres of farmland will go up for auction next month in the Texas Panhandle.

The land, which includes an estimated 7,000 irrigated acres, will be offered in 10 tracts between Dumas and Dalhart in Hartley and Moore counties. The tracts range in size from 640 to 1,920 acres and will sell individually, in groups or as a single unit.

The auction is managed by Indiana-based Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company. Schrader’s manager for the auction Roger Diehm said buyers will have possession for the 2015 crop year and have harvesting rights to all currently planted wheat.

The auction is set to begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, at the Rita Blanca Coliseum in Dalhart, Texas. Bidders can meet with auction personnel from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, February 23, for information and land inspections.
