HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — A Houston man sought after his pregnant girlfriend was found slain in 2008 has been arrested in Venezuela and returned to Texas.

Walker County jail records show Neriah Louis Roberts was being held without bond Saturday on a murder charge.

Jail records don't list an attorney to speak on behalf of Roberts, who was booked Thursday into the jail in Huntsville.

Tierra Adams of Houston was reported missing in February 2008. Her body was found weeks later in a field about 75 miles north of Houston.

Authorities have said Adams was last seen on Jan. 29, 2008, following an argument with her boyfriend over her smoking during pregnancy.

Investigators in Walker County tracked Roberts, who was wanted on a warrant, to Venezuela. Further details on his capture weren't immediately available.
