Just before 11 a.m. Monday, a trooper stopped a 2006 Cadillac DTS heading eastbound on Interstate 40, near Conway in Carson County.

During a search of the vehicle, the trooper found 15 bundles of marijuana in the trunk of the vehicle weighing more than 360 pounds.

The occupants of the vehicle were 24-year-old Ashley N. Kubatzke and 25-year-old Bradley T. Monson, both of Rockford, Illinois.

The drugs were reportedly being transported from Tucson, Arizona to Rockford, Illinois.

The seized marijuana is valued at nearly $164,000.
