Texas DPS to Move Lubbock Driver’s License Office to New Location

Lubbock’s driver’s license office with the local Texas Department of Public Safety is moving.

Lubbock’s Texas DPS headquarters is moving to 1404 Lubbock Business Park Blvd. from their old location at 1302 Mac Davis Lane.

One division at a time is being relocated to the new headquarters.

The driver’s license office will be closed on Friday, December 6^th, and they plan to have the office open at the new building at 8 a.m. on Monday, December 9^th.

DPS will have notices and a map posted on the doors of the old offices to help citizens locate their new regional office. A DPS trooper will also be at the building on Mac Davis Lane to direct people to the new location as well.

The driver’s license office’s new main number is 740-8700 and the new communications operator number is 740-8770.
