UPDATED: 

Texas DPS have released the name of the individual killed in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 27 Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 23).

Authorities say the crash happened at mile marker 24 on I-27 around 2 p.m. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 28 year-old Keisha Mansell, was traveling south on the highway, crossed the median for unknown reasons, and rolled.

Mansell was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are still investigating.

Texas DPS are reporting a deadly crash that occurred on Interstate 27 near Abernathy Tuesday afternoon.

KAMC News reports the crash happened at mile marker 24 on I-27 around 2 p.m. Initial reports say a car was traveling south, crossed the median and rolled.

One person was pronounced dead and no other information has been released.
