The Texas Comptroller’s Office will host a free seminar in Lubbock later this month to answer business owners’ questions about state taxes.

The sessions are designed to help new and existing business owners understand their state tax responsibilities, including paying taxes electronically, e-services to help taxpayers manage their accounts online, and a variety of other services available from the Comptroller’s office.

The seminar will be held Monday, July 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lubbock Small Business Development Center at 2579 South Loop 289, Suite 114.

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs said that “We are committed to assisting Texas businesses by making taxes simpler, smarter, faster, and above all, transparent. We owe it to our taxpayers to provide the best customer service possible.
