Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples Endorses Jim Landtroop for HD 88 Runoff

Republican State Representative Jim Landtroop landed a key endorsement ahead of the July 31 Republican Primary runoff.

Texas Commissioner of Agriculture Todd Staples announced his endorsement of Landtroop for House District 88.

Commissioner Staples stated, “Jim Landtroop is a fiscal conservative we can rely on.  Jim is a proven leader when it comes to fighting for private property owners’ rights and ensuring government lives within its means.”

Landtroop is Vice-Chairman of the Rural Caucus and a member of the Agriculture and Livestock Committee.

According to the press release from the Landtroop Campaign, Landtroop worked alongside Commissioner Staples throughout the 82nd Legislative Session on issues relevant to farming and ranching.
