Texas 7th Court of Appeals to Preside at Texas Tech Friday

The Texas Tech School of Law will host a notable panel of jurists this week.

The Texas 7th Court of Appeals, which usually presides in Amarillo, will conduct business at the Donald M. Hunt Courtroom in the Tech School of Law.

The 7th Court of Appeals is composed of a chief justice and three justices, and has intermediate appellate jurisdiction in both civil and criminal cases appealed from lower courts in 46 counties in Texas.

Four cases are scheduled to be heard on Friday, September 14th, beginning with docket call at 10 a.m., breaking for lunch, and resuming arguments at 1:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public. The Texas Tech School of Law is located at 1802 Hartford Avenue.
