Temporary Closure of Loop 289 Exit to Slide Road Wednesday Morning
Access to Slide Road in South Lubbock will be restricted tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow from 9am to 12 Noon, TxDOT will close access to Slide Road from Southbound West Loop 289. The closure will allow work crews to repair a guardrail.
During the closure, southbound West Loop 289 traffic will be able to access the Slide Road-Spur 327 exit, but won’t be able to continue onto Slide. Traffic will be detoured to the Spur 327 turnaround at Frankford Avenue.
