This morning, San Angelo Police were dispatched to a vehicle crash at a Walmart in San Angelo.

KAMC News reports the incident began at 12:41 a.m., when a red truck drove through the entrance of the Walmart and proceeded to drive around inside, damaging store property.

The 2001 Dodge Ram then exited the building through the store’s northeast entrance and struck a parked Toyota Camry. The man responsible, 19-year-old Caleb Wilson, was arrested soon after the incident at a Murphy USA gas station.

Officers described Wilson as delirious and combative. He faces charges of First Degree Criminal Mischief, and two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

It was later discovered that Wilson had tried to run over an 18-year-old female, reported to be his girlfriend, in the parking lot, and another unnamed individual, before crashing into the store. Because of his erratic behavior, Wilson is being detained at Shannon Medical Center for evaluation and monitoring.
