Ted Cruz Rally Scheduled For Saturday In Lubbock

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz will hold a campaign rally on Saturday, September 22nd from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. The rally will be held at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center at Texas Tech. The McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center is located at 2521 17th Street.

The rally is free and there will be live music and free food for those who attend. Those who attend are being asked to register for the event in advance. You can do that by following this link.

Cruz is running for re-election and has found himself in a tight race with Democratic Rep. Beto O'Rourke who has come to Lubbock several times.

In a poll released Tuesday, Cruz leads O'Rourke by 9 percent among likely voters in Texas.
