Texas Tech Board of Regents Approves New Name for Dan Law Field

Texas Tech University Board of Regents approved a name change for Dan Law Field. The Tech baseball stadium will be renamed to Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park after a $5 million renovation. The park will now carry the name of long time Red Raider Baseball supporter Rip Griffin, at the request of an anonymous donor. Official groundbreaking for the renovation took place June 24^th. Construction on Rip Griffin Park is set for the end of January.
