Voter ID law blocked in Texas, Tuesday night Primaries, and more in today's Morning Brief.

The Justice Department says that around 11 percent of Hispanic voters in Texas do not currently have photo identification.

"Facing an election challenge next year, the administration has chosen to target efforts by states to protect the democratic process, Cornyn said.

The Voter ID battle seems to be over for now. We heard many arguments for and against, but the ones against never seemed to make sense. After the jump find out what Chad means.

The Texas Senate paved the way for a Voter ID bill to be brought up and hopefully passed in this legislative session. In the last session the issue died, but since the Republicans hold a huge advantage in numbers, it should pass easy. I've yet to hear a good argument why it shouldn't. (more after the jump)
