Hernandez stated on his Facebook page that Lubbock Mayor Glen Robertson has filed an open records request for all emails sent and received by Hernandez from the City server from May 2012 through the current date.
A Lubbock elected official alleges that a political party is engaging in racism and theft in the aftermath of political signs being allegedly vandalized and stolen.
The City of Lubbock has provided members of the Council with an iPad capable of 3G connectivity, and Hernandez says that he also uses the iPad for his law practice, personal use, political use, and city business.
The funding, originally appropriated in bonds for the North University Gateway Project in 2004, was later moved to the 34th Street project. Council also approved increasing the sales tax projection to create three new positions at City Hall.
