On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News Mike Bennett, headmaster of All Saints Episcopal School, and counselor Gwen Belk talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about an upcoming Veterans' Day event.
Veterans Day is on November 11th this year, and organizations across Lubbock will be holding events commemorating the holiday.
Events will take place through 9:30 tonight at 6202 North I-27, take exit 9 to the old Lubbock Airport terminal
Among the events this week…the Wounded Warrior Game…Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma State on Saturday. Medal of Honor winner Sal Giunta will be at the game.
