On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Lubbock mayor Tom Martin talked with Chad and Rex about all the goings-on at yesterday's city council meeting.

“I’m not voting to raise taxes,” Martin said. “I never have, above what the voters approved, and I will not do it in the future.”
An almost 4-year long investigation of the City of Lubbock by the FBI is over.
Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin states the investigation is closed and that no charges will be filed in the matter. During the FBI raid at city hall in May of 2008, the FBI seized computers, hard drives and documents from the city.
Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin will have an opponent in the upcoming May city election.
