Jury Selection Underway in Thomas Dixon Capital Murder Trial

Jury selection started today in the capital murder trial of Dr. Thomas Dixon.  Dixon is accused of hiring a hitman to kill Covenant Medical Center pathologist Dr. Joseph Sonnier in July 2012.

Thomas Dixon and David Shepard Indicted on Capital Murder Charges in Death of Dr. Joseph Sonnier III

Sonnier was found dead on July 11th at his home in the 4600 block of 21st Street. He had been shot and stabbed.
