Michael L. Evans last served as a professor, dean, and CEO of the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in St Louis since 2006. He is a Texas Tech alumnus.

The new endowed chairs are in pediatrics and oncology for Covenant
United Supermarkets in Muleshoe will help expose participants in the program to cancer prevention educational materials, which emphasize cancer-preventing foods.
Laura Street is replacing Founding Executive Director Dr. Marjorie Jenkins, who will still maintain a role within the Institute.
Those involved on this track will have the opportunity to participate in courses taught by Health Sciences Center faculty, and will gain volunteer experience in community clinics and undergraduate research.
Dr. Douglas Stocco currently serves as executive vice president for research at the Health Sciences Center. He began his career at Texas Tech in 1974 when he joined the Department of Cell Biology and Biochemistry.
