Spring is finally here and schools are gearing up for Summer vacation in a few months but one local school will be closing their doors all of next school year.

Several inches of snow fell overnight Saturday and into Sunday morning, forcing several districts to delay or close schools altogether for in-person learning.

The Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees will meet concerning the future of Lubbock's Smylie Wilson Middle School campus.

Most South Plains school districts, including Lubbock ISD, Lubbock-Cooper and Frenship will have two hour delays. Get the complete list right here on KFYO.com
