While officers were removing the child from the home, the suspect, 34-year-old Adam Joshua Plyler, reportedly went through the attic of the home and into the attic of a neighboring attached house.
Officers reportedly chased Billy G. Miller III to 3505 East Baylor where the suspect attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly taken into custody.

Jermain Dupree Gaither was arrested by Lubbock Police’s Warrants Division on Tuesday afternoon.
