Russell Eugene Heath of Lubbock received more than 24 years in prison for his role in bank robberies in Lubbock and Amarillo.
Arnesto Ramos reportedly charged at the officers, armed with what Lubbock Police describe as a “small sword.”
During the negotiation, the suspect, 30-year-old Arnesto Ramos, reportedly charged officers with a machete and a kitchen knife.
The trio robbed East Point Market, located in the 1500 block of East 19th Street, just before midnight on March 25th.
