The man is suspected of robbing the Lubbock National Bank at 4420 19th Street around 12:47 p.m. Wednesday, May 1st.
The man on the motorcycle, 47-year-old Liandro Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. At least four other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
LPD officers converged on the vehicle as it was trying to leave from behind the Hampton Inn, located at 4003 South Loop 289.
LPD says that eight to twelve people were fighting at the scene, and four people were stabbed during the altercation.
Hensley reportedly robbed two banks and a credit union in Lubbock from September 2012 through February 2013.
The suspect carried a rifle into the Shell station in the 4200 block of 34th Street just after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 22nd.
Officers arrested four people and reportedly found some stolen items in the vehicle.
Authorities say they found approximately 98 bundles of marijuana, four bundles of hash, and two bundles of mushrooms containing psilocin or psilocybin in the airplane.
The promotion ceremony will be held at the Lubbock Police Department’s second floor auditorium on Friday, April 19th at 3:15 p.m.
