On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Ron Betenbough, Cathy Landtroop and some young entrepreneurs joined Tom Collins and Laura Mac to talk about this weekend's Lemonade Day event.
Lemonade Day participants for this year can apply for privately funded small loans up to $35 per stand.
The event is designed to help today’s youth become tomorrow’s entrepreneurs by teaching them to start, own, and operate their own lemonade stand.
Today over 2,000 children will participate in a county-wide event to help teach Lubbock youth about business management.
