The Council declined to put City Manager Lee Ann Dumbauld on paid administrative leave, and one citizen chided a councilman for voting on an item which directly involves his political career.
The utility says that they contacted federal authorities to express their desire to cooperate fully in any inquiry, and “federal authorities could not confirm nor deny any investigation and to this date LP&L is unaware of any official investigation by federal authorities of LP&L."
The meeting was originally called to discuss and possibly take action regarding complaints made against District 1 Councilman Victor Hernandez by City staff members.
