On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, LISD Fine Arts director Will Burks and Coronado High School band director Mack Bibb talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about some upcoming high school band competitions.
At their meeting this morning, the Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees recognized exceptional students, named a director of human resources and made technology purchases for the district.
A Lubbock ISD high school student will receive a National Merit Scholarship to attend Texas Tech
The group will present two plays at the events this week, combined with desserts supplied by United Market Street.
