The Lubbock police officer accused of using excessive force during a traffic stop is back on the job. A judge ruled that Officer Chris Hennsley should get his job back after being placed on indefinite suspension in June of last year after what the department called questionable actions that put fellow officers in danger.

During the traffic stop he reportedly busted out a window of the vehicle, and  also accidently tazed another officer that was on scene.

A court ordered the City of Lubbock to return Hennsley’s job and pay him for the time he was on suspension. The City of Lubbock is appealing that decision.
