Lubbock police have released the name of a man killed in a weekend stabbing.

Police responded to a home at 4602 Fordham Street just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday, April 28th.

LPD says that eight to twelve people were fighting at the scene, and four people were stabbed during the altercation.

Israel Vasquez died as a result of a stab wound sustained during the fight. The 27-year-old Vasquez died at University Medical Center later Sunday morning.

Police believe that the incident stemmed from a disagreement between the residents at 4604 Fordham and 4602 #2 Fordham.

Lubbock police say that they have some suspects in the case, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
