Steve Massengale Talks Coliseum/Auditorium and Annexations

Friday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin City Councilman Steve Massengale joined Dave and Matt to talk about the previous night's city council meeting.

Dave, Matt, and Councilman Massengale discussed several pressing issues and answered several questions that the citizens have been asking and debating about such as the future of the Coliseum and Auditorium, and forced annexation of new areas into Lubbock.

On the topic of the coliseum and auditorium, Massengale said,

"The move on the auditorium/coliseum seems logical to me. It seems like a fiscally conservative decision to stop using a building that has outlived its useful life."

He also commented that he has not heard a good solution as an alternative to not giving up the buildings, and that he believes that the vote will pass.
