Stephen Moore Says U.S. Has Potential To Be The New OPEC [INTERVIEW]

Economist Stephen Moore from FreedomWorks joined The Chad Hasty Show on Wednesday to talk about his upcoming program in Midland, Texas.

Moore and Hasty discussed the large economic movements taking place in and around the Permian Basin, and the role of Texas petroleum in the national and world economies.

While talking about the recovery taking place, with recent years' economic recession rapidly waning, Moore said,

We've the capacity now to become, not just energy independent for the first time in fifty years, but also the dominate energy country in the world, where we can be the new OPEC, and be producing more oil and gas...than any other country, and that puts us in a commanding position with respect to our economy, and it also helps with our balance of trade, it increases jobs, and it also reduces the threat of terrorism.

Moore's program takes place Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at The Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center, which is located just north of Midland International Airport.

Freedom Works is a national organization which promotes a free market and individual liberty with less government, lower taxes, and economic freedom.
