Statewide Primary Results May 29, 2012

The results of the 2012 Texas Primaries were announced last night.

Three major Republican Primary races will head to a July 31 runoff: U.S. Senate and both Railroad Commissioner races. Lt. Governor David Dewhurst and Ted Cruz (pictured) will compete in the U.S. Senate runoff.

District 88 State Representative Jim Landtroop will be in a runoff for his Republican Primary.

Also, the GOP Primary for State Board of Education District 15 was one of the closest races of the night.  Marty Rowley won by 1199 votes.
