State Rep. John Frullo Encourages Texas Red Tape Challenge Participation

A Texas State Representative is encouraging people to participate in a challenge regarding government legislation.

District 84 State Representative John Frullo urges Texans to take part in a new online project aimed at giving citizens easier access to the policy-making process.

Members of the public can offer their ideas on how to reduce the burden of state laws and regulations, and provide recommendations on how to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Texas government.

The Challenge’s focus is on the subjects of occupational licensing, public education mandates, state agency rulemaking, and manufacturing in the Lone Star State.

“It’s exciting that we’ve come up with an easy, new way to hear from constituents who have ideas to make government more effective and efficient,” said Frullo, who is a member of the House Committee on Government Efficiency and Reform. “I encourage folks to take some time, log on, and give us their ideas.”
